The North of England area finals took place in Durham on Sunday, the band were placed 2nd, a fantastic result and worthy of all the hard work from our conductor and players.  The first 2 bands qualify to play at the UK Championships, Cheltenham in September.

The band's Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 19th March at 7:30pm followed by a rehearsal

John's funeral will take place on Monday 6th March at 2:40pm at the Woodlands Cemetery, Scunthorpe.  We hope to have enough players to play some light music and a hymn.  Many local players will have known John from his long contribution to brass in the area, if you can join us to play please contact Rob on 01507 363240 or 07903903123 to join us, everyone welcome of course.
